Heliskiing used to be the domain of hardcore ski and snowboard professionals, or the extremely fortunate. However, these days it's hard to find an area of the skiing world not serviced by helicopters. While this is great, as it has opened the joy of the backcountry to powder enthusiasts the world over, the experience can feel mass produced at times. That's because in a search of bigger profits, most heliskiing operations have increased the number of people on any given tour until they've maxed out what their helicopters and guides can handle.

Heliskiing is such a fun activity that you can still have a good time in a large group, but the experience is sadly cheapened. That is one reason why we here at Mica Heli Guides only offer small group tours. By keeping things among you and your family and friends, we've created a unique way to enjoy the backcountry. While all tours that we give are restricted to four-person groups, we offer our guests yet another way to personalize and design their perfect winter getaway. We do that by offering our Private tours.

All tours get access to our more than 177,000 acre terrain, but Private tours get their own Bell 407 helicopter, and two of our professionally trained and certified backcountry guides. You get all the air time you need, and best of all you get to charge first descents. Not only do you get to be the first set of skis or snowboard to grace the line, you also get to name it.

Every one of our tours is a vacation like no other, but the benefits of a private tour mean your vacation will be a once-in-a-lifetime affair. The season is right around the corner, and if the forecasts hold, things are going to be epic this year. Which is why if you want the best heli boarding or skiing around, book soon before our tours sell out.
